The Wood Sawyers by Jean Francois Millet

This painting depicts two men sawing a large trunk while another is chopping trees in the background. The three men form a triangle that serves as an abstract geometrical formula for the sweaty dance they perform.

The Wood Sawyers' was created in 1852 by Jean-Francois Millet in Realism style. Millet is noted for his scenes of peasant farmers.
