Georgia O’Keeffe was one of the America’s forme0st modernist artists. O’Keefe is best known for flower paintings.

O’Keeffe enlarged flowers until they became abstract artforms whose sheer size commanded attention. She is considered to be one of the greatest painters of the 20th century, an innovator who profoundly impacted 20th century art, O’Keeffe was the first woman honored with her own exhibition at New York’s Museum of Modern Art.
